Corals and peaches are the colours of Spring, and there are many ways you can include these shades into your makeup. Coral nail polish, lipstick and blushes are always very popular, but you can also wear these shades on your eyes. There aren’t many shades that you can apply to your eyes, lips and cheeks, but I think a coral or peach monochromatic makeup look works really well for the warmer months. Here is a little demonstration on how to get a simple coral makeup look.

The three stars of this look are the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics (OCC) Loose Colour Concentrate in Glisten, Bite Beauty Lush Lip Tint in Tangelo, and Harlotte Blush in Peach Frenzy. Each of these products have a coral/peach tone to them and will enhance any Spring look.

These are some of the additional products that I have used for this look. I used the Youngblood Pressed Eyeshadow Quad in Shanghai Nights, the OCC Skin: Conceal in the shade Y1, the Eye Of Horus Liquid Define Eye Liner and the Sleek Contour Kit in Light.

To start this look, apply a BB Cream or a tinted moisturizer for a nice lightweight fresh look. I also used the OCC Skin: Conceal to cover up any imperfections. Onto the eyes…

To start this coral eye makeup, you will need an eyeshadow base, I use the Lime Crime Eyeshadow Helper. An eye shadow base helps enhance the colour of the eye shadow and also to make it last longer.

I then applied the OCC Colour Concentrate in Glisten all over the lid with a flat eyeshadow brush. Using pigments like these OCC Colour Concentrates are great for providing a strong colour, they come in a huge range of shades, and they can be used on any part of the face – so for example, this coral pigment can also be used as a blush.

To tidy up my brows, I applied a bit of dark brown eyeshadow shade Shitake from the Youngblood Pressed Eyeshadow Quad in Shanghai Nights with an angle brush.

The next step is to run some of the OCC Colour Concentrate in Glisten on the lower lash line. If you wanted to add some dimension to your eye, you can also use a mid toned matte brown eyeshadow in the crease of the eye, I used Beige-Ing from the Youngblood Pressed Eyeshadow Quad in Shanghai Nights. I also added a subtle highlight to the inner corner of my eye, and I used the shade Bamboo from the Shanghai Nights Quad for this.

To finish off the eyes, just apply your favorite mascara. I recommend the Eye Of Horus Natural Mascara.

Now all you need to do is apply some peach toned blush, I used Harlotte Blush in Peach Frenzy, and then to add a moisturising peachy coral toned lipstick, I used Bite Beauty Lush Lip Tint in Tangelo. What I love about this Bite Beauty Tip Tint is that it provides great colour, but it has a balm running through the middle of the lipstick so it is very comfortable to wear, is nourishing, and it provides a really nice sheen to the lips.

So that’s the basic coral and peach toned Spring makeup look, but if you want to change this daytime look into a night time look, then all you need to do is to add a some liquid liner and some contouring.

I used the Eye Of Horus Liquid Define Eye Liner to instantly add some drama to this eye look.

I also used the Sleek Contour Kit in Light to add some contouring and highlighting to my face.

So that’s how I like to add some coral and peach toned shades into my makeup routine for Spring.
