How-To

Neon Pop! NOTD

If you’re a lover of nail art but don’t have the time (or patience… or talent) for it, don’t worry there are other ways to create an interesting nail look!
This is a quick nail look using a few different OCC Nail Lacquers and NCLA Nail Designer Wraps.
What you'll need:
A couple of different NCLA Nail wrap styles
Nail File (this is included with all NCLA Nail Wraps)
2 or 3 Coordinating OCC Nail Polish's (We recommend the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics range)
A Clear Top Coat or a Matte Top Coat if you want to get a little fancier
For the accent nails I decided to mix and match two different sets of NCLA Designer Nail Wraps. The first set I used is Fowl Play, which contains a row of peacock feather patterns and a row of snakeskin patterns. The second set is the All Eyes On Me set, which contains intricate graphic black and white designs that contains an Aztec-ish eye design. Even though these prints clash, I think they also compliment each other.
These are very easy to apply, they are basically stickers that you peel off and apply to your nail and then you file off the excess. Each set contains a mini nail file.
For the other nails I decided to paint them with a mixture of OCC Nail Lacquers. The shades that I mixed are Inky (a very dark ink blue), Pool Boy (a bright cream blue) and for a pop of unexpected neon I used Radiate (a neon orange red).
Each of these shades is super pigmented and you can almost get a bold opaque nail look in one even layer.
Cover your completed nails with a layer of OCC's 'Shellac'd' Top Coat to ensure a super glossy finish and extend the longevity of your newly pimped out nails!
Together this is a bit of a mismatch of colours and patterns, but I think it works! If you want a fun modern look without the fuss, definitely think of mixing shades and nail wraps.
